Compared to the guitar, the ukulele is a smaller and lighter stringed instrument with a more cheerful tone. It usually has four strings and originated in Hawaii, where it became popular due to its unique shape and playing style. The ukulele is typically played using fingerpicking or strumming, giving it a softer tone than the guitar.

The ukulele is used in various music genres, including Hawaiian music, pop music, folk music, and more. It can be used as an accompanying instrument or as a solo instrument. Like the guitar, the ukulele can use different finger techniques and playing techniques to create different sound effects, such as vibrato, slides, and chords.

The history of the ukulele can be traced back to the late 19th century when it was one of the traditional instruments of the Hawaiian people. Over time, the manufacturing and popularity of the ukulele continued to expand, and now it has become a popular global instrument. The ukulele is usually made of wooden materials such as koa wood, mahogany, and other types of wood to ensure the purity of sound and the softness of tone.

Like the guitar, the ukulele also has many different models and sizes to choose from. Some models are smaller and more suitable for children or travelers, while others are more high-end and professional, suitable for professional performers. Overall, the ukulele is a fun and personalized instrument that can bring joy and pleasure in both learning and playing.
