The Beginner's Class of the Hong Kong-style Milk Tea Workshop focuses on teaching authentic techniques and the history of Hong Kong-style milk tea. The process of brewing milk tea consists of six steps: "loafing" the tea leaves, brewing the tea, simmering the tea, "pulling" the tea, reheating, and "pulling" the milk. The course will cover the basic skills and knowledge of brewing tea, allowing students to learn the fundamental techniques and understanding of tea brewing. (The cost includes one pre-packaged blend of tea, and participants may bring their own containers to take away the finished products made on that day.)
