Chess Class:

Join our Chess Class to learn strategies and techniques, enhance critical thinking, focus, and problem-solving skills! Through step-by-step lessons, children will master openings, tactics, and endgame strategies in a fun and engaging environment, while enjoying the thrill of playing with fellow learners.

Course Overview:

• Basic Rules and Piece Movements: Students will learn the structure of the chessboard, how each piece moves, and the basic rules of the game, such as castling and en passant. For beginners, instructors will use simple exercises to help them quickly understand the fundamentals of the game.

• Tactics and Strategies: Learn classic chess openings such as the Italian Game and Ruy-Lopez.

• Explore essential tactical concepts like forks, pins, discovered attacks, and defensive techniques to help students gain an advantage during play.

• Middlegame and Endgame Techniques:Students will be guided on how to manage positions during the middlegame, execute tactical ideas, and gradually learn how to deliver checkmate with a minimal number of pieces, mastering essential endgame skills.

• Practice Matches: Students will participate in simulated matches and group competitions to apply their learned skills in real-game scenarios. By playing with peers, they’ll develop strategic thinking and sportsmanship.

• Fun Activities and Challenges: The class incorporates chess puzzles, blindfold challenges, and friendly tournaments, making learning chess enjoyable and fostering a lifelong love for the game.
